Facials and other stuff

Today I tried bulletproof coffee. And of course that was the beginning of something super special. First of all, bulletproof coffee is out of Silcon Valley, or Genius Valley, and is a simple coffee mixed with milk fats and brain powering MCT oils spun into a smooth, yummy latte. It makes thinking easier and living faster, and if you skip breakfast, can make you slimmer too, by having your body go into ketosis.

I don't pretend to sync with all the fads, especially diets. But there are other things that have been regulars in my life which my attempting dietary fads have brought about this morning. In fact, a little trying goes a long way.

What is really neat is that you can start a project and leave it for later. For instance, I am keeping my veggie scraps today, tossed them into a basket outside. In a few months those scraps will truly help aid in a healthy garden. I have everything I need except soil, and now I can buy cheap soil.

Plus, Silicon Valley has me recycling again!

In my kitchen I have a dollar store basin which fits nicely on the edge of my sink.

That small bucket is enormously helpful. I can throw plates in it before having to do all the dishes. I can fill it with soapy water and bleach and wipe my whole kitchen down. I can soak the sponges and brushes in the same solution. Amd today I used it to catch all my scraps for composting. It's small, it's cute and it's useful!

So I composted and bulletproof cofee'd. Then I gave myself a mini facial!

First I washed my face and it was soapy after I was done.

The dollar tree sells charcoal powder so I scrubbed it off ever so slightly.

I made this old recipe for a facial exfoliating hydrating mask for a wedding a few days ago.

After it was done, I cooked all my chicken in two dishes.  Now I am sitting, blogging and about to take my spoiled children to the store before work. All of this productivity I owe to drinking coffee? Amazing!
