Nomen hoc indicium castitatis
This afternoon as I'm doing laundry, I'm reading about the Virgin Mary. In the tenth chapter they are about to tell us why Mary's name is divine and not of this world. I haven't gotten there yet.
In my walks today, I stopped by the little statue of Saint Francis I put bird seed and water beside. I wanted to see if the animals had been there, and I took photos of the wild flowers. Yesterday I looked and the paws of animals all seemed like flowers when you compare prints. I was interested if our hands are last to grow on our bodies but the science says it is our noses and ears, and they never stop!
Saint Francis is next to this bunch of bushes with soft, fern like growth coming up all around. The wind today is tossing leaves slowly like something from a memory or magical "other land" in a movie. So the grasses there in the sunlight are all heavenly.
I took photos of the flowers, then thought a bit about the clovers, how four is lucky but three is divine, per Saint Patrick.
