Sunday reading
On Sunday you might be interested in reading these stories from history that I found in reading inspirationals. I really love reading old Guideposts inspirational books from a time long ago. One of the stories that I read about that was phenomenally interesting took place in New England in 1780. Read the story of Colonel Abraham Davenport's comment on this special day.
I have also read many interesting stories about the early rivalvalists in the Americas, the story of the famous Brainard who influenced the famous Martyn, all the way in England, to dedicate his life to faith. I have been fascinated by the story of one of the founders of Methodism, George Whitefield, who escaped a disastrous fate at sea to become a preacher.
