Thinking on Jesus

 The major problem with the Pharisees was their misconception of the law. I have often thought of them misusing the proverb, "be kind so that coals fall on the heads of those who would mistreat you" amd the blending it with the curses of the books of the law. Jesus shows us how kind we must be, because of the ease and abuse and neglect of a spoiled generation.
