This weekend my mother and I discussed existence and she complained that we are, to some degree, only programmed to see life as it is. I was saying the leaves were beautiful, and she must have been in a deeply contemplative mood, because she said that we only see how we are programmed to see.
So I explained the science, and the shape of leaves through the "shape" of space, neatly organized.. tossing according to the wind and the folds in their dry, crisp, slight weighted bodies, and how we all did know these things and somehow this knowledge made it beautiful indeed.
We do not necessarily see as we are programmed to see. Some people are TV minded and others are alerted by sounds and flashes of light. Noone is so similar - but that we see snow as beautiful, we are programmed.
Some see snow as a sign of winter. Red leaves though, it is hard to imagine, what soul doesn't see the piercing red color in the backdrop of all the subtle life colors, and not see something deep within, something which calls to their spirit.
Well, I had a point. But I've forgotten it. The hours are on. Last night Jesus was God's son and I thought to look at him as a God. The man who does it is smart and used a picture that really look like God.
