Cool story bro
I have to maintain appearances. I am the funny girl. This meme keeps me chill when I am fanning the flames of divine love. Chill 😎
I went on a walk yesterday. I paused at the graveyard. I don't remember the profound thought of that moment. Only that in the ground there are dead humans once very much like myself. And the people around me everywhere.
When I came home, I walked to the park where the trees are and the water. The tree which threw a branch down to the water. It is a Tulip Poplar, and they dobthrow branches. It had had thorn on it, actually a seed pod from the flower.
I have talked about that, right? The tree itself has an elephant shaped root system. I saw it when I was there the other day after the rain. Its roots were slick and covered in water. The tree itself bears a few likenesses and I thought about that a while without hanging onto any conclusions.
I decided to write a story about it, at the store I had thought about Olive Trees. Because once I'd wondered if the oils we use to anoint people connect with the trees they come from. I am not a real mystic though. I am afraid I don't really want to know all the answers. Stories and fairy tales have always thrilled me.
And I am still kind of emotional because I have nursed myself with all kinds of divine renderings. And they've left me near speechless. One of them was that the tree beared a memory of an elephant that escaped from the zoo, and that there at the water it felt free a moment. So I imagined the Elephant being captured again or killed. And I set its soul free, like the ghost whisperer, and I offered the tree eternal life and promised it a garden in heaven with its elephant.
Anyway. There were a couple of stories I wrote in the store yesterday as I very slowly walked the aisles. One of them had to do with cats. A cat crossed my path yesterday, too. It came down from its perch to my feet to smell them. Then she rubbed her face all across my feet. And I thought that the whole point of cats was to rub their faces against feet, so that was the story.
I don't know if tigers rub their faces like house cats do, against each other, but these were supposed to be fables. Maybe spiritual fables. Teaching about God's loving provisions. He gives us sweet little friends like cats! Who come along to our smelly feet and rub us without realizing that, to us, this act of smell matching looks like affection! I wonder when people realized cats have smelly glands on their cheeks?
