Lucretius and the lacumae

 I very excited to have found this author of a treatise on sciece because I love the poit of view he speaks from. To start, they tell us,  he that he doesn't have much information of his life that categorizes his character beyod his birth date, and in this I learned the word "lacumae". 

The word means "missing information", gaps in what we know. To be sure, I would be unsure to put that lacumae is my shortage of words, we will have to see why that word was used in place of lacking.
